In Reading I am learning to:
Use different reading strategies to work out
tricky words.
Success criteria:
Use the pictures to think about what the
word could be;
Look at the beginning and end letters and
think about what word would fit and make sense;
Look for chunks or words I know within a
word and think about what work would make sense;
Read on to the end of the sentence, then
re-read and think about what word would make sense.
